Muzik (muzik.hogmob.com) is the direct-to-fan music platform for Sevin, operated by HogMob. This page explains what information Muzik collects, why, and what happens to it. The short version: we collect what the service needs to work, we do not sell it, and there are no advertising trackers here.

What we collect

• Account details. Your name, email address, and a password. The password is stored only as a cryptographic hash. If you sign in with a hogmob.com account, your password is verified against hogmob.com and Muzik keeps no copy of it.
• Purchases. The albums you own on Muzik, including albums granted from purchases made on hogmob.com and albums unlocked with access codes.
• Listening activity. When you stream or play music, Muzik records the track, how long you listened, the time, your IP address, and your device timezone and language. This tells the artist where and how much the music is being played. Listening that happens fully offline is counted when your device reconnects.
• Session information. A session identifier and a short device label (for example "iPhone"), used to enforce one active session per account.
• Support messages. If you contact us through the help form, we receive the name, email, and message you send.

How location works

Muzik records your IP address with listening activity. To show the artist coarse geography (country, region, city), IP addresses may be looked up through the third-party service ipwho.is. Only the IP address is sent to that service, and results are cached so the same address is not looked up twice.

Payments

Purchases are processed by the hogmob.com store. Muzik never sees or stores your card number or payment details.

What is stored on your device

Muzik keeps your session in your browser's local storage, and music you save for offline listening is stored encrypted on your device. Removing downloads, signing out, or uninstalling the app clears this data from the device. Muzik does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics scripts.

Who processes data for us

• Cloudflare delivers the audio, so it processes your IP address when you stream.
• ipwho.is resolves IP addresses to coarse locations, as described above.
• hogmob.com verifies unified sign-ins and reports which albums you bought there.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else except when the law requires it.

Email

Muzik sends transactional email only: password resets and messages about your purchases. You will not receive marketing email from Muzik without separately agreeing to it.

How long we keep things

Account and purchase records are kept while your account exists. Listening records are kept as long-term analytics for the artist.

You can delete your account yourself from your account page. When you do, the account is closed immediately: you are signed out everywhere, you can no longer sign in, and we stop sending you email. We then keep the account details and purchase records for 90 days so that we can restore the account if you ask us to, and after that they are erased permanently. Listening records are kept only in anonymized, aggregate form.

Deleting your Muzik account does not affect your hogmob.com account. That is a separate account on a separate site, and your orders and store login there are unchanged.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing support@muzik.hogmob.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

Muzik is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the date above will change and the new version will be posted here before it takes effect.
